Clinical Herbalism Certification through Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, MD (anticipated completion 2026)

Natalie was drawn to the nursing path because of its holistic philosophy—treating the whole person, not just the illness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University and went on to work in a variety of settings as a registered nurse, including the ICU. Those experiences deepened her understanding of complex care and the importance of compassion, clarity, and presence-even in the most critical moments.
Over time, she became increasingly drawn to understanding the “why” behind health challenges—looking for ways to nurture healing before deeper imbalances set in. That shift in focus led her to pursue advanced training, earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus in family medicine.
Her approach is enriched by training through Dr. Andrew Weil’s Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona and coursework with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She also integrates tools she learned from her yoga instructor training and clinical herbalism training, offering thoughtful, evidence-informed care that supports healing across body, mind, and spirit.
